1. Who we are
Clippd ("the Service") is owned and operated by Clippdvids ("we", "us"). By creating an account or based in Australia. By creating an account or purchasing a subscription you agree to these terms.
2. Merchant of record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders and handles all payments, billing enquiries, taxes and invoices. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase in addition to these terms.
3. Subscriptions and billing
Paid plans (Creator $12/month, Pro $39/month, in USD) renew automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Upgrades take effect immediately with a prorated charge; downgrades take effect at your next renewal. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use Clippd to process content you do not have the rights to use, to infringe copyright or a third party's rights, to create unlawful, defamatory, hateful, harassing or sexually exploitative material, to reverse engineer or resell the Service, to overload or probe our infrastructure, or to breach the terms of any platform you upload output to (including YouTube, TikTok and Instagram). You are solely responsible for the source videos you use and the clips you publish.
6. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Clippd software, brand and design. You retain all rights in your own content and in clips you create, and you grant us a limited licence to process that content only to provide the Service.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your account, with notice where practical, if you breach these terms, use the Service unlawfully, or if payment fails and remains unresolved after Paddle's retry period. You may terminate at any time by cancelling and closing your account.
8. Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email or in-app. These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
