Data controller

Clippdvids, operating as Clippd, is the data controller for personal data processed through this site and app. Contact: support@clippdshorts.app.

What we collect

• Account data: email address, and name or profile photo if you sign in with Google.
• Content data: YouTube links you paste, generated clips, captions and edit settings.
• Transaction data: plan, subscription status, billing period and payment identifiers (Clippd never sees or stores your full card number).
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and usage/diagnostic logs.
• Support data: messages you send us.

Why we use it

To provide and secure the Service (contract), to process payments and prevent fraud (legal obligation and legitimate interests), to improve features and reliability (legitimate interests), and to send service emails. We do not sell your personal data.

Who we share it with

• Paddle.com — our reseller and Merchant of Record, which processes payments, taxes and invoices and receives your billing details.
• Supabase — database, authentication and hosting of your account data.
• Google (YouTube) — when videos and transcripts are retrieved for the links you paste.
• AI model providers — to process the editing instructions you send to Clippd AI.

Retention and transfers

We keep account and subscription records for as long as your account is active and for up to 7 years afterwards where required for tax and accounting. Data may be processed outside your country using appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, deletion, export or restriction of your personal data, and object to certain processing, by emailing support@clippdshorts.app. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Deleting your account removes your clips and profile data from our systems.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and to run checkout. Paddle may set cookies necessary to complete payment.
